Hi! My name is Colleen and I am the creator and designer behind C&G Creative. I am the "C" part, and the "G" --well that's for my supportive husband, Geoff. While I do all of the designing, crafting/work, packing, and shipping, Geoff supports me and is always there to help when I need him.
I had always wanted a Cricut since they first came out. Well, in 2020, during the global pandemic, I needed a new hobby. I found a Cricut at Walmart marked way down where I could actually afford it. (Found out later why--that the new machines were coming out, ha!) I went for it. And I started playing around with all the things I could do with my new machine. I even made our wedding invitations using my Cricut! My favorite thing to cut and work with on the Cricut turned out to be vinyl. I just loved being able to create a design and cut it out in vinyl using my machine. The weeding of vinyl became therapeutic to me. I learned a lot about all the tricks and tips by following social media accounts and videos to perfect my methods.
That's when I thought--hey! I could do more with this new hobby of mine. I decided to open up an Etsy Shop selling vinyl decals! And in October 2020, I launched my business.
July 2023 Update: I have officially upgraded my Cricut Biz and am now able to cut more materials including Basswood, very thin acrylics, leather, fabric and more! Be on the lookout for NEW listings added to my shop :)
